One of our clients is looking for a Personal Injury Solicitor to join their team.
This role would ideally suit an NQ - 2 years PQE Solicitor with previous experience in Personal Injury or those who have an interest in pursuing a career in this area of law. This permanent role can be based in our clients offices in either Edinburgh, Glasgow or Dundee. This firm also support a flexible and hybrid working approach.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own caseload and will also be working with and supervising, paralegals to assist them with their more complex claims.
This role involves:
- Dealing with your own caseload of personal injury and recoveries files.
- Investigating and assessing the merits of a case and making the decision whether to proceed to litigation.
- Quantifying claims.
- Corresponding and negotiating with Third Party Insurers and their Solicitors.
- Dealing with a mixed caseload.
- Regular communication with clients.
- Pleading and Advocacy in the Sheriff Court.
- Supporting paralegals and trainees within the firm.
- Contributing to team initiatives.
