Our client is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team, based in Dundee.
This role would suit an ambitious and experienced payroll specialist, looking to continue to build their career in a client-facing role. Reporting to the senior management team, the Payroll Specialist will oversee and train the payroll team and take the lead on payroll runs and complex issues. The candidate will have great communication skills, confident in front of clients. Ideally having VAT and Bookkeeping Skills but this is not essential.
The role will involve:
· Process high volume monthly payroll ensuring that processing deadlines are always adhered to
· Calculate SSP and average holiday pay for the payroll
· Communicate accurate information to payroll providers on a monthly basis
· Working with the account managers, complete year end payroll processes, including issuing P60's and P11d's
· Processing Starters, Leavers, Changes and reporting to HMRC
· Dealing with queries
· Supporting the VAT Team throughout the month (training can be provided for this).
· Ensuring you keep up to date with statutory requirements
