One of our clients is looking for a Solicitor to join their Employment, Immigration and Pensions team, based in Edinburgh.
The ideal candidate will likely be 0-3 years PQE and will have a varied workload. While also having the ability to deliver an exceptional service to the firms clients. Evidence of an appetite or experience in business development activities will be an advantage for the right candidate.
This is a permanent role and can also be considered for part time and flexible working arrangements. While also being hybrid, the successful candidate does have the option to work from another office in Scotland.
The role will involve:
- Providing advice and guidance to clients concerning day to day Employment law matters.
- Preparing correspondence with the Employment Tribunal in relation to litigation.
- Taking and drafting witness statements.
- Conducting legal research.
- Advocacy at Employment Tribunals and Employment Appeal Tribunals.
- Assisting other departments in relation to non-contentious matters.
- Assisting with the delivery of presentations and training to clients and non-clients.
- Participating in the business development initiatives of the wider team and the Firm.
