Our client, a small, well-established firm of solicitors, requires a conveyancing solicitor. Our client opened 20 years ago and is currently going through a full rebranding so it is an exciting time to join them.
Based in Soham, Cambridgeshire the ideal candidate will manage a caseload and provide support to the wider team. The role offers the opportunity to develop and progress a career in conveyancing.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A few years of experience in managing caseloads.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer focused skills
- IT literate
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing own caseload of transactions, including sales. purchases, transfers of equity, remortgaging, and shared ownership properties
- Managing deadlines to resolve legal issues relating to the sale or purchase of a property
- Communicating and building relationships with clients and 3rd parties
- Reviewing, checking, and approving files for exchange
- Dealing with the exchange of contracts, completion of transactions, and all post-completion work.
