Our client, an interesting legal firm in London, requires a company lawyer, focused on private companies and shareholders based in London.
- Ideal candidate is someone who is mature, has worked at a large city firm(s) and now wants to work in a boutique niche firm.
- The candidate will need to be very academic and able to get to grips with the tax issues relating to private company shares and options. Training and support are available.
- The job is a mix of company law matters, tax on share transactions and HMRC procedures.
- Role includes advising on share transfers, HMRC and unapproved option plans, investment rounds and resolution of shareholder and partnership disputes, tax issues arising on share transactions, helping to build a tax litigation practice.
- Will consider part-time and or flexible working.
