Our client is a Scottish based firm who are looking to speak to ambitious Audit Senior Managers to assist the firm in achieving its growth plans. They pride themselves on offering a dynamic, forward-thinking approach to deliver accountancy, audit and tax advice services to a number of local and international clients.
The firm has an ambitious 5 year growth plan to double revenue and is looking for an Audit Senior Manager to help engage and energise the team.
A general practice firm with a varied portfolio of clients, they have also created a strong foothold within the renewable energy, real estate and hospitality industries with plans to continue growing and developing the firm's offering in these sectors in the coming years.
The role:
They are looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior Manager to join the growing firm:
- Plan, supervise and review audit (70%) and accounts (30%) assignments which includes acting as the main point of contact for client enquiries, reporting directly to the audit partners and ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within budget.
- You'll manage a varied and complex portfolio of clients from OMBS through to large corporations spanning numerous industries such as renewable energy, real estate, retail, hospitality and charities.
- Monitor billing and costs against budgets and reporting any variances to the partners where necessary.
- Take an active role in training and developing staff. Provide support to junior staff throughout their professional qualification as well as promoting a culture of celebrating successes as a firm & team.
To succeed in this position:
As a fully qualified audit manager or Audit Senior Manager, you will have a proven track record of managing a varied portfolio of audit and accounting assignments.
You will have the desire and hunger to develop your career within in a successful firm of chartered accountants but also help the management team and partners to drive the business towards its goals.
